That is, when your agency is named “Celtic” and it just so happens to be March!
St. Patrick’s Day has always been an important day around the Celtic office. We’ve been proudly celebrating it for 23 years, and while each year’s activities are a little different, there are a few things that are simply tradition:
- Irish music and plenty of it! Stop by, and you’ll hear it piping out of speakers from one end of the office to the other.
- Sharing a traditional Irish meal – soda bread, corned beef and cabbage, and perhaps a celebratory pint– is a must!
- Giving back to the community. Whether on St. Patrick’s Day itself, or during “the Green Season,” we find a way to make charitable giving a part of how we honor the day.
- Playing hooky! We use the afternoon of St. Patrick’s Day to get together as an agency and just have a good time together over a pint or two. It’s easy to get caught up in day-to-day work, so this is one way we can take a break and reconnect as a team. (And, did we mention that it’s a lot of fun?)
We feel lucky (groan at that if you must) that we have been able to build this tradition over the years. But really, we’re Celtic! Why not make the most of it?
Happy St. Patrick’s Day, and Sláinte!
