This Saturday, June 6, marks National Trails Day – a day that helps inspire all of us to seek out, discover and celebrate America’s trail system.
Whether you’re a hardcore backpacker that seeks solitude, or the more common individual who enjoys leisurely day hikes with family and friends, Saturday is a terrific opportunity to support your local trail.
For information about trail events in your own backyard, the American Hiking Society is a great resource. And for those here in the Badger State, we have a gem of a trail right here worth exploring – The Ice Age National Scenic Trail. The Ice Age Trail is a 1,000+ mile trail highlighting Wisconsin’s world renowned Ice Age Heritage.
See you on the trail somewhere this Saturday!
