I’m a creative problem solver who supports our client’s visual design needs.
What do you enjoy the most about your job?
I get to work with a great group of people and a diverse range of clients.
If you weren’t working in the marketing and advertising industry, what would you be doing?
I could see myself as a gallery curator or a librarian.
What’s the best career-related advice you’ve ever received?
It’s not about you, it’s about the work. Since most of the work I do is visual, it can be easy to get attached to an idea, layout, or color. Keeping the work first in mind when receiving feedback from a coworker or client helps keep things in perspective.
When you’re not working here at Celtic, what are you doing?
I like to cook, play with my dog, and read autobiographies or cookbooks.
What’s your favorite bar in Milwaukee?
Camp Bar is always a nostalgic place. It’s like being in northern Wisconsin.
Do you have any weird phobias?
Nothing unusual. Heights.
What is your dream vacation destination?
Hawaii. Wisconsin winters have me thinking about warmer weather and different climates often. I hope to travel there someday.
Tell us about the best vacation you’ve ever taken.
In college, I was an art history student for a month in Paris. I was able to take in all the food, culture, and art the city has to offer.
What is the strangest food you have ever eaten?
Snails. But I think those are more popular than they once were.
If you were stranded on an island, what would you bring with you?
My dog, my sister, and sunscreen.
Who inspires you?
Hardworking people who are kind, like Bob Ross, Mister Rodgers, or Betty White.
What is your favorite hobby?
On the weekends you’ll find me trying a new recipe. Growing up I didn’t have cable TV so I watched PBS. Watching Baking with Julia and Martha Stewart inspired me to learn how to bake and cook.
What’s something about you that not many people know?
My Grandma Berg went to clown camp in La Crosse, WI after she retired from teaching kindergarten. Whenever my sister and I would visit, Grandma would teach us some new tricks. I think I still could make a balloon animal.
