We recently worked with Edvest, the Green Bay Packers and the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction to develop a summer reading program for Wisconsin families. The Leap Into Reading program was designed to keep kids engaged in reading throughout the summer months by offering a variety of fun incentives and rewards.
To jumpstart the promotion, we hosted a book reading event at the Germantown Library. Green Bay Packers defensive back, Micah Hyde, was kind enough to participate in the event and read two of his favorite books to a room full of Packers’ fanatics.
Approximately 6,000 kids from around Wisconsin participated in this year’s program. A very special “thanks” to all the families who signed up. Happy reading!!
