Overview

Celtic is looking for an experienced, full-time social media strategist to manage and grow our clients’ social media channels. The social media strategist will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive social media strategies on behalf of B2B and B2C clients, as well as managing Celtic’s online reputation.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the creative and account service teams to ensure social media is aligned with overall campaign goals and initiatives
  • Develop strategic paid social media advertising recommendations that include an implementation plan, KPIs, timelines and budget based on client goals
  • Place paid social media advertising campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc. based on approved campaign strategy
  • Optimize campaign buys to ensure budgets are spent effectively
  • Analyze performance and present campaign reporting to clients, offering recommendations as needed
  • Collaborate with the creative team to develop monthly organic content calendars for variety of different social media platforms, obtain approvals on monthly calendars, and schedule posts
  • Monitor client social media channels and engage with audience based on approved client voice and guidelines
  • Provide clients with new insights and ideas on a regular basis by staying up to date on the latest industry trends and best practices
  • Assist Celtic with new business initiatives by providing social media recommendations and proposals

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of social media management experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the top social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube and Snapchat, including a solid technical understanding of each platform’s advertising capabilities
  • Experience developing organic content calendars on behalf of clients
  • Experience with LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Facebook Business Manager and Ads Manager, including ad placement, budget management, pixel creation, advanced targeting and reporting
  • Experience with third-party social media management tools such as Sprout Social, Hootsuite and Buffer, as well as website tracking technology such as Google Analytics
  • Presentation skills and comfort pitching ideas to current clients and new business prospects
  • Excellent project management and organization skills
  • Agency experience or experience working with multiple advertiser accounts
  • Have a passion for social media and a desire to stay in the loop on the latest social media trends, capabilities and platforms
