The products donated were Kohler Courage® XT 7 hp vertical-shaft engines, which are used in equipment such as walk-behind lawn mowers and pressure washers. Thanks to Kohler’s generosity, students with access to the donated engines are now gaining critical hands-on experience, while also enhancing their knowledge of a variety of engine-related topics. Pretty cool, if you ask us.

Want to learn more? For additional details about the Courage® series of engines, be sure to check them out online.

During the conference, we visited the IATA headquarters in Cross Plains and even found time to hike a segment of the trail (Table Bluff).

It was great to see our work on display at the conference, including the IATA’s newly redesigned logo, as well as a variety of marketing materials (i.e. membership brochure, fundraising materials, trade booth graphics, etc.). A very special thanks to our friends at the IATA for hosting our team. We’re honored to be your partner.

To check out more photos from the conference, click here to view a Facebook photo album.

The Ice Age National Scenic Trail is a thousand-mile footpath — entirely within Wisconsin — that highlights these Ice Age landscape features while providing access to some of the state’s most beautiful natural areas.

The Ice Age Trail Alliance is a volunteer- and member-based nonprofit organization whose mission is to create, support and protect a thousand-mile footpath tracing Ice Age formations across Wisconsin — the Ice Age National Scenic Trail. Ice Age Trail Alliance staff and volunteers work cooperatively with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, National Park Service, local governments, businesses and private landowners to shape the Ice Age Trail into one of the premier hiking trails in the United States. Your support as a new member, volunteer or sponsor is always very welcome.

Will we continue to use our smartphones and tablets to surf the net, or is something more “futuristic” in the works?

Google has given us a glimpse of what the future holds and it’s quite intriguing. Google is developing eye glasses that allow you to access the internet to get directions to your meeting, video chat with friends and even purchase products…all while walking down the street!

“Project Glasses” is still in the prototype stage, but gives a clear indication of what’s coming down the road. Don’t be surprised if your smartphone or tablet is replaced by a pair of glasses, or perhaps something even more futuristic! Let your mind wander and think about the possibilities!

As Celtic celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, I find myself in a reflective state of mind. I guess that’s what happens when you hit a major milestone in life or business. You take some time to look around. You survey the landscape. You take inventory.

As I look back at the past two decades, I spend a lot of time thinking about the people who helped us along the way. People like our past and present staffers. Our clients. Our vendors. Our families. Sure, I spend time looking back at the work, but mostly I think about the people who helped us put it all together. Because at the end of the day, our business is all about people. And to be successful in this industry for 20 years, you need to surround yourself the best. We’ve been lucky!

So as we pop the champagne on our 20th anniversary, I want to take this time to simply say “thanks.” Thanks for everything you do. Thanks for supporting us along the journey. We are forever grateful.

-Brian

St. Patrick’s Day in the United States is celebrated and observed many ways – displays of the color green, parades, pub fun, religious observances, etc. And speaking of “pub fun”, the day’s festivities will be heightened even further due to college basketball’s annual March Madness! So with St. Patrick’s Day nearly upon us, we’d be remiss not to mention a few clients of ours that can help folks in the Brew City get into the proper “Green Spirit.”

Milwaukee Irish Fest is the largest and best Irish Cultural event in North America (Quick plug – this year’s festival will be Aug. 16 – 19). But on March 17, Milwaukee Irish Fest will be presenting Irish Fest Family Day in the Village, a free day of Irish-themed activities (live music and dancing, food, crafts, etc.) centered around St. Patrick’s Day. It will be a great event to check out some of the year-round offerings by Milwaukee Irish Fest.

Pub Fun is what you’re after? Then go to Brocach and enjoy – In addition to outstanding food, expect to find great imported beer, including the best pint of Guinness west of Galway! Just North of Brady on Water, you’ll be sure to have a good time … and catch a few of the NCAA basketball games along the way. Trust me Brocach is a great spot anytime of the year.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day Milwaukee!
